Hello to all reading my blog ,
Time really flies , its getting to the end of 2013 , although its still technically 1 and half months to go be
we change calendar and welcome 2014 ,

the emergence of china , have bought new opportunity and in the same time new challenges ,
in the past our education sytems in the post 2nd world war period , in the 50s to 60 s and maybe late 70s
its a mixed of chinese medium schools and English medium schools, however with the  endorsement
of our country policies , most of our kids switch to English Medium ones by the 80s ,

So technically from that period onwards , most Singaporeans chinese kids are have grown accustom
to having  conversation  in english even among their same peers ,
Maybe by popularizing English , may serve  an short cut and express road to gain faster  access to the  available  insights and information in books or international media ,

in so most people  when they have reach certain age in the 20s , they find it hard to keep their conversation
of speaking their own dialects pure , without  the mixing of sentences from english or mandarin and etc

and most of the times our elders , in singapore  have to keep them selves upgraded in english language skills
in order to communicate with their grand children , even though its not an bad idea to improve on what you dont have , But its sad to really unfortunate to lose your Roots and oral traditions , in the process with it

whether should  traditions and heritage be consider as an important part which make a person complete
with his /her surrounding , its a very personal point of view , Traditions are cultures are very valuable and important asset , which are pass down from generations to generations , there shouldn't be any reason
on why the flow of transmission to be interrupted prevented whether its by the country policies or society pressure ,

one may take pride in having grand parents who speak excellent English at home , and at public places
as a show of confidence that  the person may have come from a affluent family ,


in another angle, In United states , even though no matter how Americanize the local asian  population
have become,  but they are still able to communicate among themselves in their traditional language at Home


a segment of our local chinese populations have already lost the anchor to the roots of their past
its up to themselves to revive it if they want ,

because they are no related schools or associations in this subject , and people too engross in their work, 
searching for more practical and direct beneficial activities ,

if you pay attentions to the on going current affairs , you have discover that alots of entrepreneurs
in products , services and innovations are overseas chinese , from many countries ,

and many local chinese are unaware of the potential of such a big global network ,
through the key of speaking your own chinese  dialect ,

In these days we are all connected through online , no matter how far you are ,
